A Philadelphia native, Chef Tony’s joy for cooking took root at an early age during the many hours he spent in the kitchen with his mother and grandmother. His passion for food continued to bloom as he traveled the globe as a member of the international dance and singing group Up With People. From Australia to Mexico, to New Zealand to Canada, he experienced a variety of different foods and spices as he interacted with host families from a myriad of cultural backgrounds. It was at this time that he knew he had an affinity for food and cuisine.
He continued to flourish his skills as the Executive Chef for Café 458’s Weekend Brunch and Executive Chef for 180 degrees kitchen Culinary Arts program at the City of Refuge in Atlanta GA where he had the honor to cook side by side with then White House Executive Chef Walter Scheib.
Throughout his culinary career, Chef Tony served as personal chef to a host of celebrities in the sports and entertainment arena such as former 3-time Super Bowl Champion Rodney Harrison, former Wide Receiver Joe Horn, former Point Guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers Eric Snow and 2-time Super Bowl Champion Tony Jones just to name a few.
